The property is tucked away behind Costa, safe away from the road to ensure the best possible safety for those little toddling customers. We have privacy for all the groups we run but also that all important high street presence. Fantastic bus and train links just minutes away. Plenty of nearby parking in the town centre. The premises backs onto the park so is lined with trees and we are a moments walk from the beach. The Old Sorting Office has been empty for many years and we are excited to bring it back to life and revive some of its beautiful features.
Booking Information
You do not need to book a table and we do not run with 'timed play sessions'. To be able to visit you must have a table to sit at, we are a cafe with a play area, not a soft play centre therefore you are required to have a table when you visit.
Table reservations are not necessary however we can get busy at times so if you wish to pre book a table you can do so on the day of your visit by calling the cafe at 9am on 0151 216 4802 when staff are available to answer the phones before we open to the public.
Each morning we take a handful of table reservations and keep the rest for walk ins so that we are able to provide both options to suit various circumstances.
We do not take advance bookings as we have suffered quite a few no shows in the past which as a small business we can not afford.
If you don't book a table and we are at capacity when you arrive we will offer to take your contact details and call you as soon as a table becomes available. Similarly you are always welcome to call the above number to check how busy we are at that point in the day.
We are open Monday to Saturday 9.30am til 4pm, closed on Sundays for private hire parties. Please check on bank holidays as we sometimes close to allow our staff to have the day off with their families.
